I’m entering this technological experience with no real practice and wonder why it is that I would want to write in such a public place.

Immigrants and Natives have been racing through my mind for a few days, now. I’m sorry, but it will be a few years until the resistant teachers retire. I really cringe at seeing the Virtual White Boards facing the wall, unused. Hey! The kids already know how to use them, let them show you! (natives)

In our camera class, after school, one of the kids learned to crop, adjust, and save her photos before I had time to show her the program. I think I should loan her a lap, load Paint Shop Pro, let her go at it at home, and give an inservice to the teachers. Kewl.

Speaking of Camera Club, DILLON! Where were you? Wait ’till you meet Brandon – native, native, native. Has some music info for you….could make life easier. Our goal is 10, then the big production. The next movies absolutely may not be about friends. Remind me to tell you about Ashley’s video. May not work. Its all video, partially a product of a cousin’s school assignment, but she has taken much of the video. I think she learned how to use the software and is going to find out what it is. We have Picassa, and if it would be easier, we could move our base of operations to one of the labs.

I hate our MOO. I’ve already said why.

hmmm….guess I’d better check the assignments for the week.

Yes, she speaks like a native…a grouchy native to be sure (see MOO comments), but a native nonetheless! :)

Fetty, I left early yesterdayafter speaking with Craig in Rick’s room. He still is trying to sync up his tunes with each transition. This could prove to be very time consuming and frustrating. I would like to get the next group on a very rigid schedule to keep them focussed and moving forward. The last few groups have seemed to become bogged down trying to get their images to class. We need to kick them in their butts and help keep them motivated. Later, Jason

    Hi
I am true emmigrant. I have learned to speak four languages but MOO and the rest of technology lingo is still foreign to me. I enjoy reading everything. When I get lost clicking away to get to somewhere I love the experience anyway. WOW! Karen can write, I am really impressed.
